Due to being laid off (more than likely permanently), I am FORCED to sell off my prized Modern Jefferson set. Take a look at the Not-So-Deep Pockets collection, #6 on the site. I will be listing them INDIVIDUALLY on ebay next Sunday, May 8th. I will entertain SERIOUS offers prior to listing them. PM me with what you want/need, and BEST offer...there are 16 top-pops, and the rest, well, thats why its the #6 set. Thank you in advance and give it your BEST offer...I have pretty much decided on selling prices and will counter offer any offers that dont meet my 'want' price. I will be listing them here by the end of tomorrow. Most are high grade FS'ers, with the exception of the '81-P, '83-P, and '65-'70, and those are mostly ALL top-pops, with the exception of just 4 dates, all with only 1-2 graded higher, with the exception of the '70-S. When was the last time you saw a '67 NON SMS PCGS MS66 for sale/auction????Thank you...and again, give it your BEST offer as the 'pockets' just got more shallow with the loss of my job.

The rest of the set is up on ebay, starting at 9:00pm tonite, Monday May 17th, for a one week auction. Nominal starting bids are posted, with Buy-it-Now prices listed....forum members who take any of these will receive free shipping as a way to say thanx for all the help and well wishes I have gotten. Now, if someone could give me a hand with a link....also, the 7 negatives I have received, well, 1 seller who posted 2 neg claimed he sent PRIOR to receiving payment...now, on this board, that is an accepted practice, but on ebay? PLEASE!! The other 5 are from the same ebayer who was high bidder on 5 of my PCGS/NGC Morgans I put up a while back (funny, sold them to concentrate on higher grade FS Jeffs, go figure) then flat out said he didnt want them, so I hammered him with neg and he retaliated....I can list board members names I have dealt with for references. Thanx for looking and BID...LOL

P.S. I guess I should at least list my ebay name...worcestericecat.......thanx and sorry for not posting it earlier.

OK...the guy with the 5 Morgans I had just talked about, just had me NARU'ed!!! Talk about PO'd! I was a power seller up till last month, now THIS??? Is there any way to contact ebay WITHOUT going through emails and such? I NEED to move this set and I cant believe the luck I am having...just goes from bad to worse....

    Although I just started posting my resume last week, after being off since NOV26th..Ive gotten thru 3 interviews and have some heavey hitting interviews with Sikorsky and Hubble this monday and tues...so the market is alive..although Im in IT..not sure what you do but if I can help let me know...I may also want a few of them nickels, even if only to buy and hold for you.

    I want to thank ALL who have TTT'd this for me, provided a link to my set (thanx ajia), as well as the PM's, and a special thanx to Pontiacinf. I have had a bunch of offers, some for a good portion of the whole set, some singles....these may not make it to ebay. I will get back to everyone that PM'ed me, and will keep the board apprised. I want to take this chance to again thank all of you for your help in the way of offers, and condolences. One thing that hurts perhaps just as bad as losing my job, is being taken out of the 'game'. I have learned alot from lofting here and your comments, suggestions and insults, not just to me, but to each other, have made me a smarter collector... I have learned in a short time that you are all not just the no-good-snipin' SOB's (thats a joke...gotta keep a sense of humor no matter what), but genuinely nice people. Thank you all!

    A forum member has graciously offered to help me with the dispersal of this Top 10 set. Watch for my TTT tomorrow, as a decision will be rendered as to the best way for me to realize the full potential of this set. They will be going up for auction on ebay, so watch this board. I want to take this time to thank everyone, AGAIN, who sent condolences, suggestions and offers. You are a great bunch of people, and my only regret is that I will have to put on my blinker to pass each and every one of you on the Modern Jeff Registry Set once I get back on my feet!! Thank you EVERYONE for EVERYTHING!!

    TTT.....this set will be listed on ebay Sunday night (May 9th), or Monday night (May 10th), for a 7 day auction. I will post a link immediately after listing them...they will be listed individually, no particular order. This should really shake up the Registry set ranking for Modern Jeffs..., so, please look and put your best bid forward, all you Jeff people... and all you Mint Set Registry people, some of this set could do some damage in those rankings also!     These are starting to go fast, and strong prices are being realized....this series is anything BUT dead judging by prices being realized. There are still alot of good dates left. Any reasonable offer will not be refused, so if theres something you want and I still have from the original set, make that offer!
