A couple of coins came today

Today the 1961-D and 1955 Franklin came today. The 1955 is outstanding. On the obverse there is orange and dark green toning intermingled with brown toning. When I first saw it in hand I thought it was going to be too dark for my taste but it really started growing on me after I looked at it in better lighting. The reverse is also very spectacular. The coins has lots of luster and is a very nice addition to my set. The 1961-D is also very nice. Here are some pictures of it.







What do yo think of it? I do not think it is worth submitting because it has a scratch running the the lower bell lines on the reverse as you can see from the picture and it also has a scratch on the lower portion od Franklin's bust. It does have some spectacular color so I do not think that I did too bad for $4.25.

Huh, didn't know Morris sold raw stuff (guess I never checked). Really like that 1955, just let me know if you need to get rid of it already!

Nederveit, I did not buy the raw coin from Morris it was the 1955 that I purchased from Morris.
