Looks better than a 62 to me. Fair price for a CC also. Explain, if you would why its a 62. I've seen slabbed 65's that didn't look this nice. PCGS too
Not a MS-65, but I'd grade it 63, primarily because I doubt anyone, including PCGS, can accurately and consistently tell the difference between 1 point or another. Of course, that's what I'm doing, but..... I'd still grade it MS-63 - take a look at the cheek. Heritage allows you to blow it up pretty big, and you can see the nicks well. I'd get it, but that's up to you, so I won't interfere with your choice.
I looked at the pic, along with my 1878-CC PCGS MS63. I agree that she's MS62. The strike, luster, and eye appeal are outstanding. The fields are semi-PL, and the frost is evident. However, the small number of hits on the obverse limit the grade to MS62, and PCGS (and NGC, for that matter) grade according to the lowest common denominator, so to speak. This is an outstanding example that I would not hesitate to bid MS62 money on.
BTW, I like this new Heritage pic viewer! Awesome!
A-Ha! I see the cuts now in the cheek, neck and a good one right in the eye & runs accross the bridge of the nose. Good eye Dragon! Thanks for the edu.
The luster seems... well... lackluster... and there are plenty of hits on the check, and one pretty bad dig, below the line of the jaw under the ear...

Otherwise a nice coin!
Chicolini: Mint? No, no, I no like a mint. Uh - what other flavor you got?
could be another iron-gray, dipped out, lackluster, 78cc which will always grade MS62 at both ngc and pcgs; or it could be a 63... Happy Bidding!
62 seems harsh to me..but hey
