Anyone interested in a Long Term $69K Project?

Ran into a coin dealer friend of mine over the weekend and he reminded me that I had asked him to find me some Wayte Raymond albums some time ago (actually 2-3 years ago) He said he'd found some, bought them just for me, but hadn't seen me for a while - So I went over and picked them up tonight - about 15-18 albums many brand new & never used> Then I noticed that there were some boards for comms - including the Oregons - seems to me that Wayte Raymond really liked comms and used to buy all the Oregons when they were being sold as original issues - that triggered the thought that a nicelly toned Oregon from a Wayte Raymond album might be worth a "modest" premium. SOooo, I've got the album - all I need is a partner with a nice white Oregon Comm! image

The only drawback is I think this is really a long term project, so my "partner" will need to be a bit younger than me!

I also have Penny, nickel, dime, quarters, halves, dollars, and it looks like half dimes and three cent silver albums also, so if there's any collectors of raw coins looking for a place to park their "white" gems - (long term) I'm offering "free" storage and a share of the future profits image High grade coins preferred - they seem to have the best return on investment image
Collecting eye-appealing Proof and MS Indian Head Cents, 1858 Flying Eagle and IHC patterns and beautiful toned coins.

Hey that's what I'm doing as well. I buying up all the Wayte Raymonds I can find! My roosies are already starting to tone. And my raw Peace $ are starting to brown as well. I'm also using a dollar album for Modern Commems. (Can't afford the classics) I figure in 20 years no one else will have nicely toned Modern Commes since most are slabbed or are in the original mint holders. Cha-Ching!

Indeed I am also aware of an East Coast Group of collectors that have put together close to 20 each of high mint state 1892-1952 raw commems and put them in the Wayte albums.

They fear that by the time that their commems hit the circuit too many of the others will also be flooding the market.

Makes me wonder if white commens will be all the rage in the teens and 20's (2010's and 2020's).
