So I'm surfing for SLQs tonight...

I somehow stumbled across this auction. Guess we have to take his word that it's a 1926:

1926 Quarter

fair enough...

Then, of course, I HAVE to look at his other auctions, just to see if all his imaging it this bad. This one cracked me up:

I guess better models have TWO handles?

He also has negative feedback that says:

"NOT ONLY WERE THEY BROKEN BUT THEY WERENT UNICORNS"

    (that's a complaint you don't see everyday).

Maybe he used the rolling pin to flatten the SLQ. image

That picture reminds me of a picture Shiro posted a couple of years back making fun of just such an auction. Worse yet, I've found several auctions recently that were selling very high grade (and price) coins with similar stupid pictures. It amazes me every time how seller think they can sell coins like that...surprisingly...they probably do. lol

This sounds like an episode of Seinfeld.

I'm considering sending him an email:

Could you please send me a picture that clealry shows a handle on each end?

Also, is the current handle shown in your eBay ad the left or right handle? Sorry if this is a lot of trouble, but the last few I have purchased have had only the left handle (makes them diffuclt to use).

    Thank you.

Hey, he forgot to say, "Grading is subjective. Please look at the picture and decide on the grade yourself."

Hey, don't laugh! It's the previously unknown 1926 SLQ shirt button! A famous rarity that no one has seen for many years. It may have even been a button on the shirt of Cooledge!
