Not being an advocate for ACG, but I wonder why it came back only a 64 if it was so clean? I mean that belies the typical ACG reputation doesn't it?
Looking for PCGS AU58 Washington's, 32-63.

We've heard the same complaints (clean proof coins comng back with hazed fields and fingerprints) on here about PCGS too and they change more to destroy them. If it is "evidence" against ACG there is the same "evidence" against PCGS as well.

Oh Conder101, you didn't have to go there ya know.
Check out a Vanguard Roth IRA.

Hey Xpipedreamr, check out this pic of me and some friends at a recent Jack Daniel's Distillery tour in Lynchburg, TN (I'm the tall guy with the dark hair on the right side):

Conder101 is correct. The coins in the auctions look like they were submitted in vinyl flips and hazed over because of that. It has little to do with the grading services the coins are submitted to.

It seems that the eBay seller in this thread is not the sharpest tack in the wall. Consider these points:
1) who would pay $7 to submit a $5 coin?
2) who would submit any coin to ACG? (okay, maybe not dumb, but his motives could be questioned)
3) perhaps he dipped the coins BEFORE submitting them and they changed in the holder.
