That guy has had the reputation of being a numismatic fraud for a long time. Look at all the similarities here.
  • That's terrible! They need to be locked up. image

Let this be a lesson: Make sure you fully understand whatever it is you're investing in. If you don't understand how an investment works, DON'T INVEST IN IT!

I say COOL! It's a wonder to me these people are able to get with this since 1995?

Our system of justice is effective, but way too slow.
  • Last year one of the victims, I think one of those mentioned in the article had sent us about $200K worth of coins seeking to find out their value. Notice the name of their slabbing service Twenty-First Century Grading Service Inc. The coins were slabbed with the initials TCGS, hmm, sounds awfully similar to someone else. They were all gold coins that in our opinion graded a minimum of 2-3 points lower than labeled and were indeed worth a small fraction of the price paid. I do believe these people went right to their attorney shortly after meeting with us, glad to see they got a hold of the guy.

One of the ads they ran had a picture of a crying baby which said "My parents just lost my education fund in the stock market" and invited people to contact them to discuss investing in rare coins. They would pray with them on the phone and everything. This person was about to take a second mortage out on their house to get more money to send in. Very scary stuff.
