I was wondering if somebody could show me a pic and/or a description of the two varities?
Thanks,

There is a pic in the redbook. Essentially, (no pun intended) the field area in the loops of the clear "s" are visable and distinct. In the filled variety the "s" has no field in between the loops of the letter. It looks much like an infinity symbol turned like and 8.

  • Joe,

Try this site (www.smalldollars.com) and click on "everything you wanted to know about SBA's". There are pics of both the clear and filled mint marks.
