in it just for the money? or mostly? or partly???

dunno how to set up a poll, but i'm interested in what other collectors think.
do you think that the typical person who calls himself a "coin dealer" , ie. not what you think defines a dealer, but just folks who call themselves dealers, do you think they are:
a. in it just for the money
b. in it mostly for the money, but w/ some peripheral in coins
c. in it mostly because they just love coins, but money plays a big part too, ie. they need to pay the bills
d. in it purely for the coins, & the he11 w/ profits
whaddya think?

You know darn well that the group of people whose profession is rare coin dealer is diverse enough that you can't reasonably pigeonhole them into a single response.

Bad dealers don't care what they buy and sell, as long as they beat the spread and turn a profit...
Good dealers have enough attachment to coins and collectors that they will always deal fairly and honestly with clients in the quest for profits...
Great dealers have such a passion for the trade that they go out of their way to educate and foster collecting...and hopefully draw a loyal customer base which brings them profit...
