Many of you know that I have been converting my proof type set into mainly early gold. Decided that a date run of half eagles (1795-1812) in XF/AU would be more easily completed than a complete proof/ms type set...
Anyway...here is the last one that I am selling. I bought this one about two years ago directly from the July 2002 Bowers and Merena Rarities sale. It was Lot 231 if you want to check it out.
I took four different pictures showing the different qualities of this coin. Sorry for the glare on a couple of them but I needed it to show the color which as you will soon see is fantastic, brilliant, irridescent and most importantly to me, original. The other set of pictures show the frost that is all over the devices giving a striking cameo contrast, even though it isnt noted on the holder.
Not looking to score a big profit on this one as I know that I paid strong money. Pride of ownership will more than compensate for missed profits. Paid 4140$ on it and will ask 4200$, a whopping 1.5% Shipping is on me via registered mail. Three day return priv as always.
If you dont know me, feel free to ask anyone on the board for references or contact me for a list of dealers that will vouch for me.
PM me with questions and/or interest.
Very respectfully,
John
