I am headed to Minneapolis for five days on business/trade show and was wondering if anyone knew of any shops or shows in the area to kill some time and maybe meet any fellow collectors????

Where's it at, the convention Center?. Hey, you could go to Condom Kingdom on Hennepin Ave if it's still there (It was in 97 when I moved away).image

  • There is a coin show on Sunday May 2nd at the Holiday Inn Select which is located just off of 34th Ave. and I494. (close to the Mall of America) It's a smaller show, 20-25 dealers usually. Coin shops are slim pickins.

I've never been to their shops, but they have very nice coins at the shows they attend.

It is pretty lame / bad for collectors out here.

The President claims he didn't lie about taxes for those earning less then $250,000 a year with public mandated health insurance yet his own justice department has said they will use the right of the government to tax when the states appeals go to court.

Since you are downtown (that's where I work), you could visit Bill Himmelwright at Twin City Coin (think that's what his shop is named). He has a nice store downtown in the skyway system. Let me know if you would like additional details. Pretty sure there is another shop not far from downtown, just a couple of miles named Valley Coin as well. I'd be happy to show you around if and when possible!

P.S. Exactly what is that audience going to hear? image

Bill's shop is called Premium Quality Coin, and he's a great guy. I highly recommend visiting him.

My bad, thanks Android for the correction. Bill is on the MN State Quarter committee, and quite knowledgable.
