Have Fun! Enjoy your cards!!!!

With all the negativity on all the message boards, PSA, SGC, Network54. Lets not forget that this is a hobby and it should be fun. This should be a welcome respite from the daliy strife we have. I rec'd my PSA submissions back from my non-sport order today, and when I rec'd this card it made me smile. I got it on eBay for $12 or so, and liked it and wanted it slabbed. It will never bring me a fortune, but I think its a cool card of a great character from one of my favorite shows from the '60's.
I welcome anyone to post a card they like (any sport or non-sport - graded or raw) that makes them happy to own it. Lets get back to the basics and enjoy our hobby...jay

Alright... cold shower time boys (sorry 99)... my fave is Don Mossi! I have a nice run of his stuff in PSA 8, plus a fabulous PSA 5 1966 Venezuelan! Man, I wish he'd pitched for the BoSox!

I borrowed this link from brucemo, but it doesn't seem to work so swell!
  • I've posted this "card" from my youth before, but I still laugh (and sometimes cry) everytime I look at it image.

Let's not forget "The Chief". Thaddeus somebody or somebody Thaddeus. Maybe the best straight man in television history. Any of the cards have the "cone of silence"?

I've been pitching an updated "Get Smart" for a couple of years now. It's not the nephew of Max, but rather a whole new show of my making. The studios just want to put on Gay and Gay. Let me just give you one example of the new gadget for the secret agent in my show--He has a special car. In it, the clutch is the brake. The brake is the gas. And, the gas is the clutch. Also, his bullets are vestproof.

I know that doesn't top five gay guys playing dress up with some borderline dork learning which fork to use with a vegan quiche. Nothing can top that. Well, maybe tossing old people off the Tokyo Bullet Train for accuracy, but I'm hard pressed to figure out anything else.

SCUMBI - The Chief was great, so was Larabee, Hymie the robot and even Fang.
Who would you get to play the new Maxwell Smart? ...jay

Yes, those cards were issued only in Canada by McDonald's. I remember buying packs and packs as a kid so I could complete the set, only to have a few of my friends steal some of them from me. Ahh, thinking about it just brings tears to my eyes...the cold winter afternoons...the hot delicious tasting big mac to warm you up...sniff* I started collecting McDonald's hockey cards back around in 1992, when they issued one of their first hologram sets. From there onwards, I got hooked and continued collecting them all the way through-out my teenage years. I gave up on them around 2002, because I used to rip open packs and packs and somehow I just couldn't pull those God damn game-used jersey cards! And at first you could get a pack of 3 for 39 cents, but since many Canadians enjoyed collecting them and then the damn jersey cards came along, ten years later a pack was around 79 to 89 cents! And it just wasn't worth it after that...I guess I grew out of it...

    You are SOOOOOO right qualitycards!!!

You do have to feel for the people that have so much invested, and have long since lost sight of the "enjoyment" factor. I got into graded cards 1st) to protect my cards on a long-term basis and 2nd) since I was buying on the internet I wanted to be sure what level I was paying for.

I haven't got enough into it for the "enjoyment" to be gone.

    Only 24 hours you say?.....okay.....GO!!!

PS The check's in the mail image.

I think you have 99 confused with another bimbo...I can't recall any mini-skirts.
