Mercury Set w/o FB designator

I just wanted to put in yet another Mercury request. The success of the Roosie set without using the designator will hopefully push up the day when there will be a Mercury set using the same logic. I think this will give the smaller low budget collectors a place to grow, particularly the Y/Ns who may not have the deep pockets.
This is all said with the caveat that I have been collecting this way for a few years, so my own self interest is stated. Is a fall date out of the question?
