Am I missing something - everybody (almost) in the world except me must have known this card was a fake, but how?

    Maybe it was just a slow day - didn't mean to cast any disparities on this item or the seller....I'm not educated on this issue; it just seemed like a low dollar for what looked like a pretty nice hundred year old (almost) card.

    I bid on this card, but bottom line is that commons in this series book at $40 for PSA 4. A quick search on completed auctions show that a PSA 4 fetches between $35-50. This card has staining on the back and would likely come back a PSA 3. To get it graded would likely cost what the card would sell at.

    This same seller had two more of these end at about $15 that looked better than this one.
