Not the nicest coin, maybe the most worn in my set, but it will do until I get something in higher grade.

  • I have a fondness for these coins b/c 4 years after this coin came out, William and Mary set up the college that would later educate such great minds as Thomas Jefferson, and, well uh... me. imageimage I try to pick up the 1693 coins when I see them for this reason.

I like William and Mary coins, but i'd have a hard choice picking between a choice Will and Mary coin and a choice James II coin. I'd probably take the latter, i like James II stuff, it's better than gold that stuff, especially if it's a guinea! image

Don't we all! I have been looking for a nice sixpence for ages.

Then suddenly one crops up! but would you know it i was half way through buying an EF 1693 sixpence, i stand by my original choice.

Looks like i'm gonna have to give the 1686 a miss. image

Josh, if you have another buyer for the Stephen, sell it. I can't make a decision on it until after the 1st of the month.
