I've only ever seen 5 of them.
I'm sure there are a few more.
My GUESS is that around 20 exist.

I've heard that this was only round 1 with the hockey with mastro,
and there is more to come in the next auction. I heard this from
    someone who spoke to them.

marc- i hope you're right! i wonder who ended up with that big lot of over 100 uncut sheets. i guess we'll have to wait until the next mastro auction to see about that rumor.

    Bobby,

My dad grew up in Worcester and is a big sox fan.
He went to the 67 and 85 world series.

The final bid on those sheets was very high considering
that many of the sheets were in poor condition.
There were many tape marks, pieces torn, and creases
gallore on the sheets. This information was given over the phone.
It appears that two guys with deep pockets fought it
out to the end. At that final price, I'm sure these will
never resurface for sale, because the sellers would lose a lot of money.

Marc - So you think the winner is going to leave the sheets intact?

    Aro,

    Probably.
I know of a few uncut sheet collectors.
They pay big bucks for stuff.
These sheets have a losing breakup value in BGS
holders based on the condition of them.
That is unless a BGS 9 Orr rookie sells for 25k.
Otherwise, the rest of the cards are ex-mt according
to the description. Mastro overhypes the condition
unless it is PSA/SGC/GAI graded. When they say
many mint cards, is that commons or stars ?
