He is probably living the life of Rielly and perhaps trying to see afew sites... So is Gary Cooper really a Presidential Candidate?image

Hi, Just returned from Germany about 8 hours ago and I caught a few zzz's.

Had a good trip with the exception of not meeting with the old collector in Hamburg. He is 84 and he had fallen and broken his hip about a week before I arrived. I will meet him next visit because he has many Goetz Pattern varieties that no one is aware of. I will work with Harald Möller to formulate a new addendum to Kienast I & II. This will probably result in some identification key being developed to assist the collector in identifying the pattern varieties while still maintaining the Kienast numbering system. Möller and I feel that Schaaf's work is lacking most of the varieties and that one Goetz specific reference needs to be created. I will be returning in the near future to help Möller catalog and photograph this collection too.

We are heading to some of the area's local dealers today to see what we can scavange...you just never know what you'll find. I have eight new Goetz medals with my collection now including 60mm silver pieces too. I have also picked up patterns.

    I return home on Tuesday....S

Amazing!!! Did you ever think you'd come so far in so little time?? I know the book will be spectacular -- and that I'll want a copy still warm from the press!!!!! imageimage

I think Cache slipped on his own drool and had to be hospitalized. The German paramedics said something about him muttering something non-stop like "Iwannawannawannawannawanna..." image

In other words, he's almost back to normal. image
