What the....? I'll bid a dollar on the doormat.
Proud of my 16x20 autographed and framed collection - all signed in person. Not big on modern - I'm stuck in the past!
  • Did you check out the seller's other auctions, since when is a 1999 Victory pack considered vintage?

Since when? This person probably refers to Britney's 'You drive me crazy' as an oldie!

If you burned 5,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 1988 Topps cards in a great big fire, what is left over still would not be "rare".

Check out the other auctions. 1988 score pack starting out at $25.00, excellent photo's....they need to fill the salt shaker. Do you think they would buy my unopened packs at $5.00? They could make a lot of money if they did because selling at $25.00 would be a huge profit margin.

  • Well I think it's rarer than 87 Topps baseball & much rarer than 90-91 Hoops Basketball. lol

Actually let's twist this scam around in our favor.....Sorry, I can get a bit surly when it comes to the IRS...let's bid on one, pay him his $25 for the rack pack and use a photocopy of the auction as legitimate proof of value when we donate a few cases of '88 Topps baseball rack packs that we could never move and take a $25 Tax deduction for each rack! Now understand over $5000 you need a professional appraisal, so every year truly donate 200 '88 topps baseball racks = $5000 tax deduction when you itemize your deductions. Truely go to like Goodwill, donate your 200 racks, make sure you get a signed receipt showing u donated 200 1988 Topps rack packs, and thank eBay for showing independent proof of value of one rack pack at $25. Mr. IRS man has no clue, sees the proof and allows a $5000 tax deduction without any prejudice. More money to buy cards!
