LOTS OF NICKEL ROLLS 1915 TO 1950'S

44 New auction on ebay
Buffalo rolls
Jefferson rolls

Comments

  • I understand the doubled postage - as it costs about $2 to mail a roll of nickels ....... but I certainly don't understand the insurance being $3. Also, you state that you combine shipping charges, but you do not state the terms.
  • Well as stated in the auction
If the shipping doesnt work for you
    Please do not bid

My shipping is the same or lower than most rolls on ebay and I do combine my shipping
  • Good luck

That was a rude response to a simple statement/question.
If you post about your sale here, and don't even bother to put EBAY into your title, then, you could at least be courteous enough to answer reasonable questions.

If you state that you combine for multiple wins, why not say what it is? If not on ebay, then at least when it is asked here?
And, that is a good point about the insurance cost....do you self insure or just figure it is a way to make money?
Saying that your shipping is the same or lower than most roll sales on ebay doesn't mean much....you do know that, right? image

Ok....I will do exactly what you say.....the terms stated do not work for me, and the way you answered a simple question was rude and not worth trusting how you handle a winning bidder to your auctions, so I will not bid. You get your way.

  • yes - I know eBay Sellers "like you", and I don't buy from them either........ I 'was' going bid on a few of your rolls, but your 'attitude' is worse than your stated terms. I would have paid the shipping charges, and insurance, but since you don't want to explain your terms for combined auctions, I am finished wasting my time even looking at your auctions. Why not list your nickel rolls at $2, and post/show 'honest' shipping practices - just a suggestion.

One last note: Your "About Me" page has too many mispelled words and grammar errors - guess that shows your true self.
  • Well I wasnt trying to be rude
The reason I said that is because I have to say what I mean
So that there is know miss understanding

Check my feedback and my rep here I belive it speaks for it self

    Sorry about the shipping
and on my Ins I do not think that $2 is to much to ask
And if I had to spell out every thing that every one needs or wants
It would take a year just to read the small print

    Sorry your not happyimage
  • Also About posting wheather the sell is ebay or not
I wasnt aware the the boards had changed the rules
and I guess you guys write everone on here if they do not have ebay in the title?
  • Also Neptune
    Sorry about my spelling
I guess I will have to fix
    That
Im glad my spelling MAKES ME THE PERSON I AM
I didnt know it meant I was a a$$ hole or stupid or unfair

No, now you are trying to justify things in such a way as to elicit pity.
I looked at your auctions. I would not bid. $2 is too much, esp for coins that are "g-4 or better" for insurance.
Doesn't the post office charge $1.30 up to $50 value? Good luck in getting $50+ on some of those rolls you are selling.

And, no one is trying to "write the rules"....so, stop your whining. I used a word earlier that may be unknown to you....courteous.
It is quite "courteous" for people to let others know where the sale is when you post here. Many don't want to read about ebay sales and want to buy from members here, so they skip "ebay" threads. You probably already know that though and are just going for max views?

As for writing more in your disclaimers....I don't why you balk at that anyway...you sure have enough stuff in there (don't do this, don't do that....etc).
Things like that make me think you have experienced plenty of problems already, else, you plan for the worst.
btw...you say w/o insurance the onus is on the buyer....but, I believe that it has been covered many times on these forums that that isn't true (which is why some people mandate insurance and include that in the s/h/i price). So, either you don't/didn't know that or else you are trying to bully people into paying for overpriced shipping?

For your spelling on your "about me" page.....I couldn't care less...if you don't want to go through something that is supposedly showing you in your best light and correcting spelling/grammar, that is up to you and it just shows me your committment to excellence as a seller image

I could go on, but, contrary to what you think, I am not doing this to hurt your feelings or anything.....I just thought it was quite rude how you responded to Neptune (whom I don't know and wasn't defending but was honestly mystified by how you worded your response).
So, I will end my comments on this by saying....good luck with your auctions and you will be happy to know that the way you respond to threads like this, the way you word your auctions, and the gouging I see in your INS, etc, makes it so I won't be bidding on your items now or in the future.

Never thought I would say this, but I would probably by from Doops before I would buy from you.

Your spelling doesn't make you the person you or, or the other things you said, however, the way you respond to people and gouge for insurance w/o stating "why" when asked and just whining about things, does.

But, please, don't fix your spelling...leaving it like it is gives you better excuses for how you do things image
