Some indicate PSA/DNA while others do not. Are all of these autograph cards?
  • Yes they are...otherwise I would be the dumbest submitter of all time image
  • Whats the ND stand for on the Pee wee Reese?

Congrats Kabir, I'll be looking forward to seeing those in your set.

Thanks for this post. I have been curious about this service. When all was said and done, what was your average price per card net/net for the authentication? Thanks.
Proud of my 16x20 autographed and framed collection - all signed in person. Not big on modern - I'm stuck in the past!
  • Jery,

The Autograph is genuine but the card is trimmed so it is not slabbed I guess I will be selling it and waiting for another PSA Auto...

The average cost is around 21.50 per card...well worth it to protect your cards and to give you the piece of mind about the Auto.

John - the card is autographed
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

Oh. I had chalked it up similar to a 1983 Topps Gwynn that I once sent in. It was super sharp and I thought would be an easy 9. It came back a 6--and it wasn't even autographed. image
  • Nice results! I've got a few to send in for my registry set. I had sent in an Aaron, Mays and Koufax not long ago that all came back "Questionable". I took a look at two other Aarons that I had (all came through the mail 20+ years ago) and it's amazing the difference in a couple of the signatures. Same for a couple of Mays that I have. I may try to send in a couple of these and see if I can get an authentication.
  • Hey. I'm just curious, are the cards really that busted or does PSA/DNA grade a bit harsher than standard PSA? I only ask because I see alot of very low grade signed cards on ebay on a regular basis.

By the way, congrats on the submission! Good to see everything turn out authentic.
  • PSA actually still grades the card but having an Auto on the card does make them Grade lower my theory is whatever grade they think the card deserved they lower it one grade.
  • Gotcha. I just think its kinda strange that they do lower the grade for the auto. I mean, the fact that it is a PSA/DNA holder, the purchaser should realize and accept that there is going to be a large pen mark somewhere on the card. And if they're gonna treat the auto as a defect, there shouldn't be any 9's on these, as ink on the card should crush the grade.

I still think its an awesome service though. Hopefully I'll be able to turn up some cards to submit soon.
