I love getting three times as much as I hoped for on ebay

My roommate gave me a few of his cards to post online so he could get some extra vacation money, among them was this Barry Sanders Action Packed AUTO. I started it at $75 just hoping it would get that, especially since this card doesn't have any kind of certification for the AUTO versus the regular non-AUTO'd version, but as you can see there was a nice little two man bidding war. A few others that have surprised me lately that I've sold are a 2003 Topps Heritage Rizzuto AUTO that books $60 that I got $107 for, a 2003 Leaf Green #/25 Mark Buehrle for $36, and a Robin Roberts Topps Archives AUTO that books $15 that I got $42 for.
Anyone got any other positive surprises on ebay sales?

I think people will pay a premium if they can actually read the auto.
Sanders auto is clear and readable. Which is rare.
In fact, now that I think of it, a pro athlete that can spell, is rare.
Loves me some shiny!
I was following that Sanders card, but the bidding went way too crazy, congrats on the amount you recieved.

I agree to an extent, but I just sold a Barry Sanders 2001 Topps Archives AUTO that books at $100 that I got $56 for, so it clearly isn't an issue that all Sanders AUTO's sell well. Maybe this card hasn;t come up in a while and since it's his first certified AUTO, or a semi-landmark AUTO it sold well. Who knows, too bad I don't get to keep the profits on this one.
