Need supplies help

Since I just got into getting my cards graded, I un-earthed some stuffand encountered unfortunate findings such that plastic pages, top loaders & screw downs put way too much pressure on the card. Thankfully this was all late 1980's to early 90's overproduced crap. simple example: 90-91 Skybox in pages ate off the gold trim. So I'm putting everything worth while into card saver 1's. My problem is, no one seems to make a shoebox to fit a card saver 1. I am stunned at this! Anyone know of anybody who carries something to hold these? Thanks!

Not even Cardboard Gold makes one. They have boxes called "shoe boxes" that hold toploaders pretty easily. I would actually suggest putting your stuff in penny sleeves and well fitting top loaders. A little more protection and not much more money. Plus they fit nicely in those shoeboxes.

Yup. If you are not going to be heavy into submitting Sleeves to TL's are the best way to go.

Here is the "boxes" page from one of several suppliers I have bookmarked.

I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.

Thanks Akbar. I hadn't seen those cardboard ones before. I know SCD makes some kind of boxes for graded cards that will hold CardSaver I, but they are like $15 and have velvet lining and stuff. These are spendy still at $4.25, but certainly cheaper than the scd boxes. A nice alternative. I am still for the toploaders though and only using Card Saver I's for grading submissions. Just my personal opinion.
