Anyone ever deal with cheapwax4ucom on ebay or the website cheapwax4u.com

He has some interesting unopened material on ebay and I was wondering if anyone has a sense of his reputation, etc. His feedback looks very strong. Thanks

  • They're pretty solid - they do most of the major shows too, and have a pretty incredible amount of stuff, especially the oddball items ...
  • Thanks Joker. I was motivated by a few of the posts regarding 1986 Topps cards and I picked up a few 6 box rack cases from them. It seems like a fun adventure putting together a top 86 set. I'll let the board know how the cases look when I receive them.

  • Good luck with the '86s! Racks are definitely a better way to go - avoid vending at all costs!

  • Man I had 10,000 of commons of 86's I would have given you for shipping. All vending from
when I bought cases in 86. I dumped them all! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Sorry!
Always looking for 1968 Topps PSA 8's and 1960 Topps PSA 7's.

  • Thanks anyway. Just a cool new pet project and I am told that gem mint 86s are very tough to find. I am looking forward to the challenge.

  • Cheapwax is in my opinion the best person to buy wax from. They shrink wrap each box so that the packs don't move around in the box and potentially damage the cards in shipping. I've had great success in buying their cards and finding high quality cards.

Very nice people to deal with.
  • I am really excited. Thank you to everyone that responded. I feel like I paid a fair price for the 86 rack cases and I can't wait to get them. This board really is a tremendous resource.

One more vote for them from me. I bought some oddball boxes from them at last years National. Fair prices, and friendly service.

I actually just bought a 1986 Topps rack box from him at the Phoenix Tri Star. He didn't have any cases at the show. Great guy to deal with and quality product. He even invited me to check out his warehouse in Kansas City in I'm ever in the area.
