He looked great last night, going 2 for 3 with two singles and a walk. He hit a couple foul balls that would have been extra base hits had they fallen fair. Would have gone 3 for 3 but tried to stretch it into a double and got tagged. The problem I was worried about was how rusty his glove was but he was perfect on d. He made one grab on the 3rd base line and a followed with a sidearm throw I was sure would end up in right field but it hooked back to first in plenty of time to get the runner. Did his cards cool because of the sprain? Better pick them up before they take off again. I don't see any reason why they'll keep this kid in the minors. DeRosa who?
