My first grades!

Not too bad. Here's my 6 free submissions. I thought maybe some of the 8's could have been 9's but this wasn't as bad as I thought it would be...

2 30692340 1965 TOPPS 377 WILLIE STARGELL N/A 8
3 30692341 1965 TOPPS 176 WILLIE McCOVEY N/A 8
4 30692342 1968 TOPPS 27 GIL HODGES N/A 8
5 30692343 1968 TOPPS 145 DON DRYSDALE N/A 9
6 30692344 1961 TOPPS 30 NELLIE FOX N/A 7

Thanks PSA! More are coming!

Definitely better than my first submission ! I'm looking for '65's if you're thinking of selling spigrimace.

You picked them pretty good. Better than my first lot that came back as 5'-7's before I understood what I was doing, and the true grade
expectations. Not that I know what I'm doing now. Congrats!
Proud of my 16x20 autographed and framed collection - all signed in person. Not big on modern - I'm stuck in the past!
  • Congrats on good results. However, you've yet to send in a big dollar card like a rookie Mays, 54 Bowman Williams or any Mantle. Wait until the biggies go in and your hair comes out. I aged 43 years after my first high dollar submission. I'm sure a lot of other people out there know what I'm talking about.

However, if all your cards come back this way, please come over and check mine. I still can't pick a winner.

    best,

    scumbi
  • Thanks for the kudos. I did take all of your suggestions after I sent these 6 in and looked really carefully at the 100 cards I was going to send. I pulled 2 out as I found 2 bad surface gouging scratches, lowered my expectations on many more to the 7 - 8 range due to light scuff/scratch marks, broke my heart on some (Thought I had a gorgeous Marichal rookie that now I'm praying for a 7 due to surface issues) but I do have conviction that some of my 68 - 69's that may just knock the sox off a grader as the corners are great, no edge chipping, centered great, and NO surface issues. They're all minor stars like Cepeda, Aparicio, Hunter, Wilhelm, Rudi, Kaat, etc. We shall see. Hoping to receive one vintage 10! I'll keep u posted if you'd like.
