What do yall think of this piece?

And what would you reasonably expect to pay for it?

My Krause is a few years old.

    $7000?

Really? Is that just a guess?

The seller is actually offering it for a little less.

My 2002 Krause has it at $6500 in Unc and $8000 in BU.

    This just sold.....

    And, this one too.

Figure $4200-4800 for an AU58 to MS62/3. You'll have to stretch upwards to $7500 plus for a true MS63+/64 coin. My guess is these last two were pretty "busy" with the hairlines, etc. I typically see only AU58-ish '25s in these UNC slabs. PCGS would probably be much closer to a real unc. if slabbed MS62, but I wouldn't touch one sight-unseen.

This coin is very available in 62-64 and brutally tough in solid 65. It probably pays to wait for "the right coin".

I'll at least hunt for one in a PCGS slab, and buy it on approval.

I just want one for my darkside gold type collection. It doesn't need to be a 65.
