Hi
This is my first time posting to the US forum, I have usually posted on the darkside, so please be gentle with me.
I have a 1776 - 1976 Bicentennial 3pc Silver US Proof Set that I thinking of putting up for auction on ebay and would like to get the forum's opinion on what I should put as the start price and how much it will go for.
I have watched four of these sets over the last couple of days, three started low and ended at $12, $15 and $26 and the fourth started at $18 and no-one bid on it. To my inexperienced eye each set looked of equal quality, especially given the quality of the images available.
Anybody else noticed big variations in selling price of US proof sets on ebay?
Any guidance would be welcomed

I can't remember how much I paid but it was around $17. I wans't looking to make a profit on it but I guess if I solf it I would like to get around what I paid.
The main enquiry was about the big variation in selling price of what (to me) looks like the same set. Is this just a feature of the imperfect market of ebay?
