Submissions- what do you do?

Hello all

PSA has a variety of options for submitting cards, depending on how urgent you need it, how many you have or how much you want to spend.

But because it isn't always about economy, I just thought that some examples of what services people submit and why you choose this would be helpful to newer members for future submissions. There is likely something to learn from here.

What are the typical submissions you all make? Are there certain services that are more reliable than others?

  • I try to wait for the specials to send in bulk amounts. "Bulk" is a relative term around here though. For me, it's anything over 25 cards. For some of the guys here, it's anything over 2500!

Since I'm on a budget and have other hobbies, I usually submit and pickup 5-7 cards monthly at PSA Saturday. If they have a special that I can use, I'll take advantage of that. Over the long term, this saves me plenty of money on shipping, especially with the $5 modern special at the beginning of the year.

I always use the 100+ card $6 rate and then go as crazy as I can on the $5 deals.
  • Is there any sort of pattern that PSA uses for it's monthly sales?
