Ridculous! NGC is so highly regarded in general-yet I see crap like this all the time-both circulated and Mint state all the time in NGC slabs. I think it's time collectors get really objective with this over rated slabbing company. (Just an opinion-please-no lawsuits.)

    MAX F-13 1/2

There is serious overgrading in the Buffalo series.

    F-13 1/2 MAX!!!

There is serious overgrading in the Buffalao Series.

Bid based on YOUR grade NOT the slab's grade.

you could probably get it upgraded at pcgs.

i mean, cmon, how many times do you have to see horn-less buff's graded xf in pcgs & ngc plastic to realize how screwed up mkt-grading is today?

  • Since I'm new to collecting, this is actaully the first xtreamly overgraded Buffalo I have seen in a professional slab graded by number 2.

I hate to say it, but dorkkarl is right. The same kind of grading for circulated Buffalo's is seen in PCGS slabs.

13S is a key! I don't think you find much better for under $300.00. It list for $255.00 for a G in Mays price guide

When did you see the coin?
  • It's up for auction now on Heritage Sig. Sale

You missed my point, you said you saw the coin when in actuality you haven't. Coins are graded in person not through photos espcially those from Heritage. I would suggest to you that if you are new to the hobby you should not buy coins sight unseen. You will also see photos of coins in all TPG holder that look graded properly, undergraded as well as overgraded.

Heritage's scans are fine to grade circ coins from. Sometimes not ms coins.

Hi everyone! This is my first post here. I'm fairly new to coin collecting, but have been reading all your post and trying to learn about grading. I'm really glad I found this site - I'm really learning a lot.

OK......question here. Maybe my eyesight isn't good enough for coin collecting, but I can't even read the date on that coin? What's up with that?

Dates wear out quickly on buffalos. I agree with the general consensus about a fine grade.
