I did a Baley!!! Pictures enclosed!

After looking for a few years for a nice 20-center (mind you, my funds for a while only allowed for a damaged AG), I finally got one a few weeks ago from Greg Hensen.

Today, I did my first Baley...

What did I learn?

1- Good thing I took the advice and bought goggles... that plastic flies!
2- I need better tools

At least 95% of the slab is still there, which means only 5% is stuck in you, the wall, the ceilling, the floor ect. Pretty good I think.

Hey, I too have a 1875-S in my type set... it's in very good condition.

How much did your's cost? I got my 3 or so years ago and it wasn't cheap.

I couldn't agree more. Let the Danscos, Wayte Raymonds, and all other albums reclaim their coins!! I think a coin looks better on a bookshelf in an album than covered in plastic, especially the funkier ones that have seen some action. Save the plastic for the true gems! Among my other Dansco albums, I just started the Early Commems -- I'm going to fill it with commems that have been around the block, picked up a little color and have some character.

I surpired it grade VG. I have a raw 75S I like to have in plasic.
