Excellent thread! It just shows how much of a gamble these high priced packs are? What a joke!!

He could have bought (10) '96 Chrome Antoine Walker rookies for that.

7 MVP awards, the single season HR record, career walks record, single season walks record, 700HR/500SB, and two batting titles near 40 years old. How can one argue that those aren't stats of the greatest to ever play the game??? All this and there is still more to come!!!! Bonds:2005 NL MVP. Or are you going to doubt him again?

Wow, that is sad...but typical. I bet he barely gets the $3.99, + $3.00 shipping = $93.01 loss. Nice!

  • i almost started to feel sorry for this tool, but then i saw the fake patch thing. oh well, i'll just send him a nasty email telling him i'm notifying ebay and the card companies. it usually scares em in to pulling the auctions

I sent this joker an email telling him there was no way this was real. You can see the fuzz poking out the top of the card where it was "stuffed" in.

We just busted some clown at a local show trying to pass off a fake "NFL Equipment" patch Priest Holmes card. Funny, the guy that bought it went out to his car to get it and brought it in, the patch fell off the card and exposed the "folded" scotch tape. Sad thing is, he bought it from one of the dealers the week earlier. Shoulda heard that conversation.
