Update ... Barry Bonds just blew his nose ...

I realize a couple of you are obsessed with him one way or another,
but most people have only a very small interest in him, and many more couldn't care less.

I know, I know, just skip the threads you don't like,
but wasn't the Sports Talk forum created specifically for all these ..."is too !"..."is not !"..."is too !"... threads ?

Yes - the Sports Talk is exactly where a thread like this one belongs. What's it doing here?

7 MVP awards, the single season HR record, career walks record, single season walks record, 700HR/500SB, and two batting titles near 40 years old. How can one argue that those aren't stats of the greatest to ever play the game??? All this and there is still more to come!!!! Bonds:2005 NL MVP. Or are you going to doubt him again?

Yes. But these threads should also be included in the Rare Record and World and Ancient Coin forums as well. Bonds has that 'rippling' effect you know. The US currency forum has expressed interest as well.

You keep beating me to the news, BKAH.

Hey, isn't that the same guy that JoeStalin said Barry couldn't hit? Damn, I need to revive that thread. When is Stalin going to learn. Any guesses as to what he will try and say to defend himself this time.

I am with most of the people who say that he always seems to stick his foot in his mouth. Is he really going to be shocked when Barry touches Roger Clemens sometime this season?

Hey Kevin, I'm just fooling with ya. But excuse my ignorance, what does the asterisk mean?

  • I should have figured it was something Anti-Bonds. They can't put an asterisk until he is proven guilty.

Should Ray Lewis have an asterisk next to his Defensive Player of the Year Award then? He was "accused" of murder and then somehow got off.

Being accused of murder did not enhance his talent on the field. Bonds has been accused of taking illegal steroids that make the ball go farther. Farther means more home runs.

I don't know about the sign value but you have a GREAT attic! The only thing you'll find in mine is my son's broken down bike and a few dead rodants or something.
