I would like there to be one place to look for all of the great coin photography tips the are spread out over several forums now.
If you are in the Western North Carolina area, please consider visiting our coin shop:

    I voted no. The key to good coin photos is reading past threads and practice, and more practice, and more practice.

    On the forum, there have been many great tips and many threads rehashed time after time on the subject.

  • I think so... yeah, you probally could sift through the thousands of posts here and find the technique threads... but it would be much more convenient if there was a photgraphy thread, especially since sometimes Darksiders and Lightsiders don't mix and intermingle too often, Lightsiders might miss a technique the Darksiders have found to work and vice versa... I think it's a great idea... cause I need all the help and advice I can get...

    Yes. It's better to keep these archived in one spot.

    a monster grest idea

    ]

    accurate photography of coins and for somene to be able to tell if the photo was enhanced is really important for the coin market

    especially so with this internet really impacting the coin market as a picture is worth a thousand words!!

    but as of yet for most coins there is still no substitute for the human eye but this coin photography combined with the internet is a close second and growing rapidly

    normal? who?!!! image

    I think the photography forum would be great, but I also think that we need a forum for eBay/Paypal questions/problems (not sales) because there are so many of them.
