I don't see where he has edited any posts in this thread. Whether he edits them or not, he posted a coin he had already sold and said it was for sale. That is not good when you try to sell coins to board members. I certainly hope he offers some sort of explanation.
K6az, I believe he made a mistake, then in turn edited his original post where he said the coin I bought was for sale. There is a different coin there now. I don't think he meant any harm by all this.

That could be it Bryan, but I would hope that he would come back and say he made a mistake. I bought a coin from him and was pleased with the deal. This however concerns me unless he comes back and explains.
Gsaguy, the reason you are seeing the same Morgan now is your cookies are corrupted. I started to see the same thing again, but deleted my cookies and it's showing the edited posts now.

<<So how are my friends on State St. doing?>>
K6AZ,
Doin just fine I guess while I was there some lady came in and said thoes few words all of us here love. I just Inherated a bunch of old coins how much will you give me for them
I could tell he was very anxious to get to her "big sack" of coins she brought in. Hope he got some goodies!
Jason, are you sure that isn't artificially toned by placing the coin on a sheet of perforated metal and baking it? I was pretty good at inorganic chemistry, I bet I could make one like that in my kitchen !!
<<So, let me see if I have this correct. You are telling me you just bought the 85o in the Anacs holder graded 64, and I don't have it in my possession? I gotta run, this is getting too funny.>>
NO! That was the Wrong Picture in that posting, Picture Hosting's fault! I't should have been an 1884-O RAW Textile Obverse Toned Morgan. Here are the correct pic's:

Explanation, My pic hosting displayed the wrong pic's I have since attached the correct pic's to this thread. I was Not I repeat Not trying to sell a coin that was previously sold! I have Many coins for sale. Why would I do that!!! Clearly this was a Mistake. I don't need the Negative press. Please forgive me. Thanks, Scott
Scott, if you read up the thread a bit you will see that we figured that out. What I do to avoid this happening to me is to add the certification numbers to the jpeg file names, that way I know I am using the right image.
Also, if you backtrack a few posts, you should see a coin I posted that should be familiar to you.
Here is the problem K6AZ, I did post the correct link to that picture file! I can't just Name the file it has a Web address with all #'s. I simply copy the web address and paste it here. When I posted it the pic showed up correct as the 1884-O. Now sometimes it is the correct pic and sometimes it is not the same (when I click Refresh.) It is the Web Pic Hosting site that is giving inacurate information as it keeps changing from one pic to the next
And yes I saw that coin. How is she? Did you crack her out? or just add a dark background? She is a Beaut no?
Hmm.. sounds like you need to find a better web hosting company and directly upload your files via FTP.
I like that 82-S, and it is one of the few toned coins besides my registry set that I have kept. No crackout, I got out of playing that game a long time ago. I'm surprised no one touched me on that one, I really expected to have some competition on it. Sometimes you get real lucky on eBay.

Tell me about it! I was hoping you'd have some competition on it too...
The toned coin market on eBay has really suffered due to the photo manipulation, return policies and "restocking" charges. Even when a seller puts up a nice coin with honest images such as you did on the 82-S, a lot of people just aren't willing to bid strong money for toned coins on eBay. This is why I stopped selling my better toned stuff on eBay. I got really hammered a few times.

Keep a close eye on eBay. You can find them, and sometimes cheap because of some of the lousy images.
