1925 Copper

Just perusing the coppers from Heritage and noticed this 1925 MS67 RD. This must be one of the worst high grade coppers I've seen in a while. Reminds me of a certian proof copper that PCGS bought back.

  • Yep, that 25-P has been floating around for a while trying to find a home. Poor thing, someone should just put it out of its misery.

  • Stewart,

You mean the 25-S that was cracked out of a NGC MS-64RD holder!

Edited to add: "or so the story goes.."

Does it look like someone took a knife to Lincoln's chest on that 25-s?

  • Stewart - How can you tell anything from the pic of the '25-S? Have you had it in hand? I just can't assess it from Heritage's pic.

sog - i believe Lincoln was shot so it is not a knife that was put to Lincoln's chest.

  • The 25-S now has the bigger pic up. It is really something to see the difference with Heritage's standard pic and then the bigger pics they put up on more important lots. I can't believe they still haven't done something about their photography.

Wow that 25-S is very nice. How does it compare to your 25-S Stewart, at least from what you can tell from the PIC?
