Here is what I know.
1909 Hudson-Fulton Celebration 101.8 mm Bronze, Designer- Emil Fuchs, Maker- Whitehead Hoag.
The American Numismatic Society had these made for presentation and sale. They were made in 9 sizes and metals. There was a 101.8mm silver version, a 101.8mm Bronze version, a 50.7mm silver version, a 63.5mm Brass version. These are all the only sizes and sizes that I can verify.
Bass Sale 1 Session 3 Lot 2089 was a Sterling Silver 101.8mm one.
Stack's July 2001 sale Lot 1310 was a Sterling Silver 101.8mm one
Stack's July 2001 sale Lot 1311 was a Bronze 101.8mm one.
I don't have the prices realized for these auctions so I don't know what they sold for.
The one I have has a womans name (Glenola Sutfin) stamped on the edge making me think it was an award for something or that she was a dignitary of some sort.
I would like to know the producton figures of each size and metal and the rarity of each ?
I doubt if there are very many of these around.
There are a lot more knowledgeable people than me on this forum and I can use any help anyone can provide.
I think it's a very interesting piece.
Thanks.
Have a good day, Gary
