That coin is origonal , natural toned. It has been owned and purchased by the most experienced

dealers and collectors of toned coinage. The coin has stood up to almiost 20 years with no change

in the toning. It is exactly the same today as it was back then. It may be due solely to an act of divine

providence but this coin is origonal, magnificent and unique.

Now we have entered another dimension. It could be argued that all toned coins are AT. Placing a coin in a paperbag on the window sill and leaving there over time can be argued to result in natural toning or AT, depending on one's perspective. Take the toned coins from the Binion hoard. Colors varied depending on their location, what materials they were in close proximity to, etc. Those coins were not doctored and most would say they are thus naturally toned. However, the fact remains that those same conditions can be artificially duplicated. There is no difference in the chemical process going on.
