Economy Times Just Dropped Again

seanqseanq Posts: 8,645 ✭✭✭✭✭
I can't believe I'm the first to notice this, but PCGS changed the estimated turn-around for economy submissions from 80 days to 72 days.

When I sent in my last batch it was still 90 days, at this pace I may see my coins again before Fathers' Day.

Edited to add: Modern Economy turn-around estimates also went down from 60 days to 45. Sweet!

Wha... what was I looking at yesterday that still said 80, then?

Jesus, I even replied to that thread.

Is the modern economy time reduction old news too?

You might have been loading a cached page. I don't know if the modern drop is new, that one isn't staring at me 20 times a day when I'm checking my submissions. image

I saw the 72 day on Monday when I checked on my submissions, just didn't think it was that big a deal considering they use the "Show" excuse when they don't meet the "posted deadline".

Show schedules have no bearing on economy turnaround times, since it is only an estimate and is calendar days rather than business days. They're relevant only to guaranteed submissions.
