Does anyone know if there will be a gold commem for 2004? All I can find is info about the silver Edison coin for this year.

No gold commem this year. (Mercifully so -- I can use the financial break.) There is also a Lewis & Clark dollar later this year, but that's it for the commems for 2004.

The Lewis and Clark design looks fairly nice.



What would be neat would be a set with this dollar and the four new nickels (2004 and 2005).

I guess the Mint would never package them this way since it would include coins from two different years.

With the new nickels, will the mint package both issues in the same holder?

Or will it be like the 1996-W Roosevelt dime?

anyone know when the 2004 Lewis and Clark Expedition Commemorative Coin will be available? Couldn't find that info on the US mints page.

I think when they will have sold out of the Edisons.
