1992-D wide close AM

This coin is a 1992-D cent. I know this is a terrible photo but does this look like a wide or close AM ?

If memory serves, which it usually doesn't, the new reverse came out in '93. 1992 should have the wide A M.

    Compare it to another 92.

Similar to the 98, 99 & 00 type 2 rev. cents is the 92-D. Normal for the 92 is to have the wide AM. This on is being offered as a close AM.

Big Greek I don't have the coin. Only a lousy photo.

Looks wide to me too. About a day or so ago I just did a major search through all my 98,99 and 00 pennies looking for a Rev. 2 and this image you are showing looks like the AM are wide on this penney.

Hard to tell Joe...it looks in between. Check the position of the designers initials against a normal 1995 or so cent...that will tell you for sure. The second reverse (normal for 1993 on) would have the designer's initials farther away from the base of the memorial than the earlier style that would be normal for 1992. Sorry, no photos uploaded currently.

    Joe-

Based on the pic I'd say it's a normal 92d penny. I attached 2 pics for you to compare my 92d Close AM. You'll see how close they really are. And like CD said, compare the designer initials also. They will be the same distance as the Wide AM's. PM me if you have any questions about the 92d. Pic 1 is much better than 2 here.
