ANACS and PCGS holders

When I got my ANACS coin, I noticed a major difference in the two holder styles. One is the ANACS one is smaller. The another is the different type of housing material they are housed in. NGC and ANACS use some type of white foam it looks like to house the coins inside the plastic slab. PCGS uses a type of suction holder (I think). It's hard to tell. But I'd really like to know why they use different housing materials and what the foam like substance NGC and ANACS uses to house its coins inside of the plastic holder is.

Thanks!

Crack a slab and you'll find out image In actuality, the only thing that matters is that the materials are inert, which they are... they, in part, use different materials just because the slabs have different looks.

Does ANACS, PCGS, and NGC all use inert materials in their slabs?

anyone who thinks ANY flexible plastic material can somehow be "inert" has been smoking, well, too much plastic.

    Karl,
Tell that to the millions of people with cardiac stents, intraocular lens implants, etc.
