How many nickels are in this kind of holders? Since the nickel is not worth that much, how many people would have slabbed one at that time? image

    Considering that holder was used for almost four years probably a significant number. There is no way to know an exact number but if you could locate a pop report from around Dec of 1989 and add up all the nickels listed in it you would have a fairly close idea of how many were in them at one time. But with 14 years of crackouts there is no way of guessing how many are still in those holders.

    Anyone has a pop report from dec. of 1989 ? Wouldn't all the fs coins be in a new holder by now?
