What would this grade at PCGS? ACG? NGC? 1899 $20 Liberty (Grade Posted)

I know that all of the grading services are either more conservative or more loose than others. So I ask, what would this coin grade at the grading services:

ACG:
PCGS:
SEGS:
NTC:
ANACS:




It is currently in an NGC holder graded MS62. I have 4 other MS62 NGC libertys and this one is by far better than any of them. I want to use my free submission to PCGS to upgrade this coin to at least MS63. Does it stand a chance?

Ok, Most of you are Positive this coin will grade MS65 (Damn, I would like that.) Some of you believe the coin is no-better than MS63.
The range of values of this coin between MS63 and MS65 is around $8,000.00.

I am going to crack it out and send it to PCGS with one of my 4 free submissions. I will let everybody know what PCGS grades it.

That looks like one fine double eagle. My guesses are:
ACG MS-68
PCGS MS-65
SEGS MS-67
NTC MS-69
ANACS MS-65

SEGS = MS 64

My first guess, which is usually the best, was 63, possibly 62. I think NGC is about half a point looser on these, so I'd go for them if you want the 63.

You guys/gals are confused. Gold is very soft and double eagles are very large. That coin, if unmolested, is a super coin. They all got banged up. There is no way that coin is a MS-63. Much nicer than that. Send it to PCGS and then come back and tell us what they graded it as.

I would grade it a nice 62 or borderline 63.

I would say that coin in PCGS would be MS65 and NGC MS65...

So then does gold have a different grading standard that top-tier grading services adhere to?

I mean, if you could count the marks on a coin, a gold coin with MS65 grade would have more marks than a Silver coin with MS65 grade?

I think it's a 63, possibly 64. I have a 1900 in NGC 62, and it doesn't look nearly as nice as this one.
