I just can't figure out how to capture the true colors yet.

Big shows, auctions, certain dealers and collectors is where most of the good stuff comes from.

try using a Reveal light bulb (you can get them at grocery stores)

maybe play with the contrast and brightness a little. I use the clouddome with a reveal bulb and 2 regular bulbs.

JB, that green and violet crescent came from me, and I owned it for several years. I wouldn't be surprised if there was another one floating around that came out of the same bag.
