The US MINT and FEDEX SUX!

So I check my order status at the MINT it finally says shipped. So I check the shipping status and it says shipped via FEDEX will be delivered today. So I call FEDEX and tell them do not bother coming before 3:30 no one will be home. They come at 1:40. I call them again when I get home do not bother coming before 3:30 next day they come at 10:30. After work I go an hour round trip out of my way to pickup the damn packge.

You can leave a note on your door requesting that the driver "D-R" it at your door or to one of your "trusted" neighbors.

That's a lot of territory to cover -- the US Mint AND FedX? Easy now boy.

How about just, the vagaries of life in the modern era, and leave it at that?

I had grief with Fedex over a US mint delivery also.

Depending on a lot of factors, it may be worthwhile to get a PO Box. Around here they are $30 per YEAR.

I will never again order a US mint product delivered to the house, because it may come via Fedex.

just leave a note on your door if you know something is coming, or just sign the door tag. they will leave it unless the shipper insists on signature required. as a fedex employee we try to make every customer happy, sometimes we just can't do it. try fedex home delivery and you can schedule a delivery time.

Just wondering.......what happens when:

I sign the card, Fedex leaves the package on the porch, and the phone book guy takes my package before I get home?

Does Fedex buy me new Proof Sets to replace the stolen ones?
