1806 Loge de la Clémente Amitié, Paris

An unusual medal from this era in that it retains its secondary loop. This had a ribbon strung through it and the medal could be worn around your neck without having to drill a hole.

    Thanks LordM, I appreciate it. I've gotta say it's pretty intimidating around here sometimes (I mean that in a good way image)... The variety of interests and the quality of the coins and medals keeps me coming back day after day. Of course it doesn't hurt that the tone is generally genial as well! image
