Stupid question of the day

Okay, I was so bloody tied up in the Morgan dollar rubbish that I forgot to ask this question. Do you have to send coins to ANACS registered??? I was going to send a few coins priority, insured with return receipt or is this taboo? I know they "recommend" registered but do I have to???image

It depends. Do you want them back? imageimage

It dosen't matter as long as they get them. I have sent coins priority mail to anacs in the past.

I never send my coin off by any means other than Registered mail. You can do it, but why would you want to?

Speed. It takes about a week for a registered package to get to pcgs from where I am.
    2 day's priority or 1 day express.

As I recall, I've sent coins off to ANACS First Class Insured, rather than Registered. Registered is probably much better, but if you have a relatively cheap submission like I had, and are too lazy to find a box and that stupid brown paper tape (like me), then I guess you could go First Class Insured. I don't think they care how you send them there (as long as your courier pigeon doesn't poop on some grader's head), but I'm sure they have requirements on how they are shipped back.

LordM is correct, when ANACS ships back, they always ship registered insured.

Yes LordM I am a lazy ol' sod. If I were to submit more than one coin I'd got the registered way.image

If the value of my submission is less than $500 I go first class insured. $500 and over Registered. As stated, ANACS doesn't care how you send them as long as they get there. I've sent First Class Insured to ANACS many times.
