Pettite and others should be ashamed of himself for charging such fees. If I'm a star athelete making millions a year, I'm either not charging anything or no more than $10 per signature on any item, which would all go to charity.

The promoter sets the retail price, and I would think that Andy Pettite gives plenty to various charities. Also if you or I were famous enough to be paid for autographing we would want a fair price for our time. I am also sure that Mr Pettite signs many autos for free too.......just my 2 cents
