Subject: [1stBn1stMarines] Camel spiders!

-e was recently bitten by a camel spider, which was hiding in his sleeping bag. I thought you would like to see what a camel spider looks like. It will give you a better idea of what our troops are dealing with. Enclosed is a picture of his friend

    I love that 5 Ouncer!!

The Liberian coin looks a lot like mine-attractive but the strikes are usually weak and have more contact marks than I might like.

On the whole however, very nice. Thanks for sharing the joy!

Angel- That silver is beautiful - you are off to a great start. Also,If you look through many of the African countries coins you will find many with women of color depicted.

    As for the spidersimage

  • Thank you everyone. And Oldshep I will keep my eyes open for more women & men of color on coins. But it hasn't been easy finding them even on ebay. eureka you almost had me fall from my seat about slabbing that monster. But it sure is a beauty, now I need to get a 2 oz. The spiders are enough to make me never want to visit Iraq. I like spiders but those two were hard for me to even handle. Then I thought they're big enough to cook. Made me wonder if anyone is over there cooking them monsters up. You need a trap to keep them away.
