You're not closed-minded, you're just normal. I don't like it either and I certainly wouldn't bid on it. But, it is a very significant item that is worthy of the public spotlight.

Who knows, maybe the guy who bought the Bartman ball will but this and destroy it too!

It was about a copy of Mein Kampf (sp?) AUTO'd by the author that is in the current Mastronet auction.
